Criterion A: Knowledge and understanding of the text
My Score: 5
I included contextual information and provided references to both the novel as a whole and specific aspects within the passage. 

Criterion B: Understanding of the use and effect of literary features
My Score: 4
I included some literary features, but I could have expanded more on them. I was mainly focused on the diction used in the passage that any other features.

Criterion C: Organization
My Score: 4
I think that my organization was coherent, but the conclusion wasn't as detailed as I was close to the  maximum time limit. 

Criterion D: Language
My Score: 2
Firstly I said "um" and "uh" many times, and many of my sentences wasn't well constructed. Also the vocabulary and grammar used can be improved.

    I like the background you give and that you pretty much jump right in (be careful that you aren't spending too much time giving background)- you sound calm and organized. I think you've got a great use of devices here, but keep linking back to the overall purpose of the passage. That's really the effect. Keep thinking...why is Ishiguro doing what he's doing in the passage? How do you know? I also think you have clear organization in your planning, but thinking about the two questions I mention will help keep it more organized orally. My name is Karoline Rosendal Hart ø  Mortensen. Coming from the Latin man name Carolus, which means 'free man', Karoline must mean 'free woman' . The name Karoline come in different version such as Caroline (Old German), Carolina (French), Karol (Hungarian), Karolina (Slavic, Old German). The name Karoline is well used over most of the western world, but mostly with C, the K-form is less used and is only used in the Nordic countries. I got the name Karoline because it is a traditional Danish maiden name that has been used for hundreds of years in Denmark. It was, the summer of 2016 young, free and almost eighteen. Moving to a fare aware land with the whole world in my hand I was, excited, overwhelmed and totally scared I didn't know how I even dared.
